Venture Capital, Small Project Finance (under $25M), and Advisory Services 

How we work:  We deliver business development consulting, project development assistance, and investment facilitation services to US and international companies.  Venture capital and projects or portfolios below $25 million, M&A and other types of transactions do not qualify for our Completion Assurance Program (CAP funding), so a management services agreement (MSA) would be required, with a tightly-defined scope-of-work and schedule of deliverables or milestones to be reached for the required services. Under an MSA, with venture finance or smaller projects, seed stage money, etc., we can arrange other forms of non-traditional capital such as convertible debt, quasi-equity, direct equity (common or preferred), assistance with finding a sponsor for securing sovereign guarantees or bank guarantees, project development services, project management, coaching, and more. 

No cash for engaging with In3 under an MSA?  With CAP, the aforementioned concessionary terms (~4% APR, typically with a minority equity stake; see indicative terms) are available for project finance above $25M from our in-house Family Office partners, presently with no up-front costs.  This pathway is much faster, more reliable and predictable, when project developers meet these requirements, and thus we can defer all fees and due diligence costs until after closing.

Our Sweet Spot — renewables and “climate finance”

Our focus is international development through infrastructure project finance.  In particular, we specialize in project finance for renewable resources — clean energy, food, water, and materials (nearly 30 different sectors at present) — but we are open to any industry that delivers social and/or environmental benefits.

Within this diverse set of industries, we are specialists in four—
1) Utility-scale solar — solar/PV, storage, and hybrids
2) LED lighting and energy efficiency/management
3) Waste-to-Value (WtV) or Energy, including materials recovery such as carbon/char, fertilizers, etc.
4) Regenerative and sustainable agriculture (sometimes also called Conservation Agriculture).

For developers in any of these industries we offer our expert guidance in the form of technical services, assistance with project origination, design & feasibility, business planning and forecasting, financial modeling, as well as related EPC (engineering, procurement and construction) services, vetting (pre-due diligence), and de-risking.

In addition to financing through in-house partners, In3 Group enjoys long-term Joint Venture relationships with experts in these industries with access to competitive rates for Tier 1 suppliers of AAA-rated solar PV, Balance-of-System, LEDs and WtV equipment.
