Daniel N. Robin, founder & senior partner, has more than two decades financial, executive/board and venture catalyst experience. Specializing in mid-market project finance and investing, Daniel serves on the board of several In3-funded companies, and is adept at capital formation strategy, deal structuring and de-risking, business planning, financial modeling, asset-backed guarantees, feasibility analysis, packaging and presentations, credit quality, private equity, alternative financial and convertible instruments. Daniel brings diverse industry experience in clean energy, renewable resources (food/water/forestry), waste-to-value, renewable materials, sustainable food systems and “climate-smart” agriculture, health/nutraceuticals, biomaterials/green chemistry, building/real estate, and impact investing. Co-founder of Renewables Investment Forum (RIF) in 2003, an accomplished keynote speaker (sample videos), moderator and conference chair.
Daniel holds a certificate in Finance from Moody’s Analytics (2012), is a certified coach (CTI, 1994, the first organization accredited by the International Coach Federation), and is former adjunct professor of management and strategy at Monterey Institute of International Studies (MIIS, now Middlebury Institute at Monterey), and has taught entrepreneurship, business planning, impact investing, and innovation for sustainability within the top-10 ranked international MBA program in California. Mr. Robin also holds certificates in public speaking (Toastmasters International), group facilitation, and NeuroLinguistics (NLP Comprehensive, 1991).
John J. Carroll, director of project finance, brings extensive experience in project development and finance across a wide spectrum of domains and industries, as a banker (ABN-Amro N.V.), as an institutional investor/developer (Edison International), and leading Finance and Legislative Affairs for a BIPV solar manufacturer (Silicon Energy). John has extensive experience in structuring and managing tax motivated investments in renewable energy (wind, biomass, solar) as well as real estate (low income housing and historic rehabilitation tax credits).
Versatile and responsive to the client’s situation, John has more than two decades of advisory and consulting experience for both domestic and international Projects. For In3, he is responsible for managing incoming project dealflow, project vetting, financial structuring and risk management, and serves as a member of the Investment Committee. He earned a Bachelor of Science (BS) in Finance from University of Southern California (USC) Marshall School of Business.
Lana Solesen, consultant. Lana has a solid 10+ (15 now?) year track record in structuring, negotiating and closing large international renewable energy transactions in both developed and emerging markets. She has led on multiple project financing deliveries to date, mainly focusing on renewables, water, resource management, agriculture and sustainable property development project transactions in Americas, Europe and Asia. Prior to her career in the renewable energy sector, Lana had worked in the Telecom, Banking and IT industries in Denmark and in the UK. Lana holds a Master’s degree in applied mathematics with specialization in financial modelling from the Technical University of Denmark.

Jordan Daniels, director of sustainability, excels at analytics, sustainability consulting, construction management, renewable energy engineering, high-performance, healthy buildings and campuses, strategies for carbon neutrality, climate resiliency, and resource efficiency, regenerative design, circularity, environmental justice, and sustainable agriculture.
Throughout his career, Jordan has managed projects in the US, Europe, and the Caribbean for clients including national labs, city governments, universities, multi-national corporations, real estate asset managers, non-governmental organizations, and manufacturers.
He specializes in sustainability certifications and impact monitoring and measurement. He has a BS in Chemical Engineering from the University of California at Davis.
Ryan Sarnataro, senior financial analyst, has 25 years experience in key leadership roles with a wide variety of business operations at various stages of development. For In3 clients he assists in constructing financial models, and analytic tools used for fundraising, development bank financing and management. He has worked with both greenfield projects and established companies seeking to expand overseas. Over the years, Mr. Sarnataro has also provided management consulting, fundraising and M&A support for US-based companies.
He previously served as director of marketing with Fine Dried Foods International, as operations manager for Maggie’s Organic Products, and as president of Sierra Natural Foods, an importer, wholesale distributor and private label marketer of natural products. An accomplished public speaker, Mr. Sarnataro has moderated panels and given talks at conferences as well as formal pitch presentations. Mr. Sarnataro has served on a number of non-profit boards, including 15 years with the Ecological Farming Association where he also filled the position of interim executive director.
David Worrell, vCFO, is an accomplished entrepreneur, executive and author. David specializes in helping businesses develop powerful financial and market-development strategies. Worrell is a graduate of Ohio State University, the Sandler Sales Institute, and the Kauffman Foundation’s FastTrac Entrepreneur Training program. Four times he has been recognized as a “Fast 50″ award recipient for building fast growing new companies of his own.
Worrell has run three successful companies of his own. The first, InfoQuest! International, Inc. is a telecom company that he sold in 1999 to a Silicon Valley competitor. Subsequently, Worrell founded Monterey Venture Partners, LLC (MVP), a 5-member venture consultancy in Monterey California. MVP helped dozens of entrepreneurs design, build and finance their companies.
Currently, Worrell writes finance articles for www.AllBusiness.com, and advises students and entrepreneurs through the Entrepreneur In Residence Program and the Entrepreneurs Leadership Circle at Queens University in Charlotte, NC. David is a member of the Turnaround Management Association and a Gold Level Quickbooks Certified Pro Advisor.
